Today's Psalm is a lament to God. Lament is a spiritual discipline seen in the Psalms. It's a way of opening our hearts to God our Creator, who shaped and formed us and knows our hearts. God longs to hear the longings of our hearts because our God is big enough to transform our lament into joy, suffering into healing.
