Come and join us for the Blessing of the Animals! After worship, we will meet in the front parking lot where Pastor Sean will offer a blessing for each pet (please keep your pet in your vehicle until the blessing). Also, if you cannot bring your pet bring a picture instead or if you do not have a pet, kids are invited to bring a stuffed animal for a blessing!
Also, this year we are partnering with Lutheran Social Services of Alaska to collect dog food for distribution at the food pantry for those who cannot easily afford food for their pet. This is a great way to help the vulnerable pets and owners in our community!
The food we collect must be regular dry kibble food that is unopened. Bring a bag to donate on October 6th!
