Fellowship Opportunities

We are so excited to begin more fellowship opportunities with you as we move towards the spring and summer months!

Stay tuned for our next bible study information and other planned summer activities!

Every Sunday we fellowship here at Joy before and after our 9:30am Worship service.

We also have a Saturday work group that gets together here each month, as well as a variety of other fellowship opportunities each month.

If you would like to host a fellowship group, please let us know by emailing us at [email protected]

Joy of Reading Book Club

Book Club information for March-May 2023
The Joy of Reading Book Club meets once a month to discuss the book selection for that month. It’s a fun way to share books, a meal and fellowship.
Here are our upcoming books:
March 21– “Life on the Mississippi” by Rinker Buck. Please note this month’s meeting is on a Tuesday and is at the Eagle River restaurant Corks and Hops. (They are not open on Mondays.) The reservation is at 6:00 PM which is a half hour earlier than normal too.
April 17 – “Swimmers” by Julie Otsuka. This will be at Kathy Burek-Huntington’s house.
May 22 – “Black Cake” by Charmaine Wilkerson. This will be at Shontelle Schmidt's house.
Special Note – Please keep Saturday June 3rd open for our 13th anniversary celebration at the beautiful lake home of Gerry Noreen on Nancy Lake.
If you have any good book recommendations for us, please let us know! We love to talk about books, and life in general. It’s fun and stress free – you don’t even have to have read the book! Please contact the office on 907-694-9601 if you would like any more information.

Intergenerational Events

During the year, we host various intergenerational events for all - both the young and the young at heart. Regardless of age, we can learn a lot about God, faith, and relationships from each other. At these events, we learn together and engage in various activities with the goal of learning and building community.
