Fellowship Opportunities

We are so excited to begin more fellowship opportunities with you as we move towards the spring and summer months!

Stay tuned for our next bible study information and other planned summer activities!

Every Sunday we fellowship here at Joy before and after our 9:30am Worship service.

We also have a Saturday work group that gets together here each month, as well as a variety of other fellowship opportunities each month.

If you would like to host a fellowship group, please let us know by emailing us at [email protected]

Joy of Reading Book Club

Have you ever thought to yourself
. . . “Joining a book club sounds like fun?”
Well, it is!

The Joy of Reading Book Club normally meets the 3rd Monday of every month at 6:30 PM. We usually have a light dinner, some time for socializing, and then a discussion of the book of the month. Reading keeps us young! Fresh ideas, learning story and gaining new perspectives keep us inspired and informed. We love new members, so please join us!

June’s book is Love and Saffron by Kim Fay. This month we will be meeting on Friday, June 10th for the Book Club’s anniversary meeting at the beautiful Nancy Lake cabin of Gerry Norene. You are welcome to stay overnight!

July we will be out experiencing all that Alaska has to offer, so we will not have a book for that month 😊

Please call the office on 907-694-9601 if you would like more information.

Intergenerational Events

During the year, we host various intergenerational events for all - both the young and the young at heart. Regardless of age, we can learn a lot about God, faith, and relationships from each other. At these events, we learn together and engage in various activities with the goal of learning and building community.
